Managing Procrastination

Updated: Jan 17, 2020

This friend turned client provided me with the best first project. I’m so grateful for the confidence she had in me! There was a point when I thought, “It’s about now that we give up.” A vendor had incorrectly cut a piece of foam core and the correction cost a few hours and dollars. That’s the time these things get shoved back under the bed. It was so satisfying to forge ahead knowing that this is my job and how satisfied my friend would be when it was finished. Here’s what she said in full:

“I asked Joni to help me organize, frame and arrange some art for my son's bedroom, which was something I'd been meaning to do for years but just couldn't seem to make it a priority. I dropped off a literal pile of random frames, photos, memorabilia, and posters on her dining room table and she took it from there. The results were amazing - so much better than anything I would've done on my own and it was so satisfying to cross it off my project list!”
